Scotthaven the company was founded in 1973 and the issued shareholders, Mr. & Mrs.Gordon Craig, Mr. & Mrs. George Rauch, John T Scott, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Scott, Mr. & Mrs. Arne Smedsrud and Mr & Mrs. Robert Taft owned the original shares of Scotthaven. Their memberships have all been passsed down, except the Tafts, who were bought out, and Leone Craig who is 96 as of writing this. The corporation was founded to ensure that the property of Scotthaven was not lost through the years and would continue as a tradition passed down within the bloodline of John T Scott.
John Scott, was both the founder of Scotthaven, and the post master of North Bend WA.
